Cliff Arnall is a dickhead!
He really is.. He states that today, monday January 19, is the most depressing day of the year.
Arnall says the date was calculated by using many factors, including: weather conditions, debt level (the difference between debt accumulated and our ability to pay), time since Christmas, time since failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to take action.
The fact is that Cliff Arnall’s equations … fail even to make mathematical sense on their own terms. Well let me tell you something Mr. Arnall.
Today is my birthday ! And there’s nothing depressing about blue monday.
The only thing slightly depressing today could be the weather here in Belgium, it was cloudy, rainy & gray.. But it was my birthday, my birthday. Thank you.
